Vanpooling isn't car rental or micro-transit. It has developed into its own industry and demands special attention to the needs of vanpool participants. It's not a replacement car or providing a single vehicle in a strange city. It's about explaining and providing vanpool group support systems, understanding funding issues, and making the experience better than driving alone. We've honed best practices to make a dynamic, complex system (integrating converted vans, working with OEM manufacturers; coordinating maintenance and insurance; and managing human group dynamics) simple for vanpoolers to use.
Many fear abandoning the old drive-alone habit for a host of real and imagined reasons. Our vanpools thrive, however, because we work to overcome those fears by providing support and flexibility. An incredibly high number of our users report extreme satisfaction with the service once they try it, and can't imagine ever going back to flying solo.
VPSI has thrived for over thirty years because our people honestly believe in doing things the right way. We are honest, fair and caring, and we won't allow concern for cost to compromise safety when we talk about how to configure our vans. We've made the commitment and investment to ensure our vehicles are clearly the best and meet the highest safety standards available to vanpoolers anywhere. Period.
As a result of our heritage with Chrysler and Budget, we've developed sophisticated systems for a company of our size. We carry the best traits of a small entrepreneurial company with the disciplines and systems borne from our affiliation with major international corporations.
We are the industry's leader and innovator. We literally wrote the book and continue to add new chapters. We listen and learn and strive to adapt to the varying needs of commuters in different locales here and in Europe. Everyone else follows our outline.
